Like a mother with many children, I love all the roses best. I did finally narrow my selection to one. Ironically, it is peach, not pink, my perennial favorite color for any flower. Peach comes in a close second. Of the roses pictured, Colette is my favorite.

This to me is the most romantic and old fashioned variety I am most partial to.

The Samba is a must. I am a 48 year old florist and I hate to tell my secret but I "borrow" a rose every year from my mother's neighbors yard. I can't help myself!

Without knowing how fragrant each one is, my favorite is Polka. I love the tight, upright center and the gorgeous pink shading. The fact that it's a climber is just icing on the cake.

I selected Blushing Knockout because it is the only rose in the group that will grow in Zone 4. I live in central Wisconsin and have not had the best of luck with roses. They are so beautiful! I hope to improve my skill in growing them. Any suggestions for Zone 4 hardy roses is appreciated. Thank you for your wonderful website, TV shows and columns. Love them!

Heritage is simply beautiful and elegant. I also love "Double Delight."

I have had this rose in my garden for five or six years. This is amazing as you state it is a zone 6 rose and I live in a zone 4-5. It came back strong this spring even though we had very bad late winter/early spring conditions (I actually thought I had lost it). It is wonderful with a very fragrant "rose" smell.

Like you, I've never met a rose that I didn't love but was disappointed to not see my most favorite of all....Rosa rugosa. I'm insanely in love with rose hips so these roses really do double duty. I can't begin to tell you how much I love your newsletter. I'm devouring every last word! Thank you so very much.
