If you don't have time to pot up your own plant, this DiamondPoint® combination is available pre-planted at your local garden center.  Visit ProvenWinners.com to find a retailer near you.

Recipe:

(1) 14-inch container
(1) 6-inch Poinsettia
(3) 4.5-inch pots of Diamond Frost® Euphorbia

Good to Know:

Diamond Frost® Euphorbia is a favorite in the summer garden and it's a great houseplant too!  As a houseplant Diamond Frost® prefers bright light such as near a south facing window.  In spring, after the last frost date in your area, cut the plants back, set them outside and enjoy the lovely blooms all summer.

Diamond Frost as a houseplant

by Jo Shafer on December 5, 2009 01:59
Thanks for this delightful tip ~ I had no idea that "Diamond Frost" is a houseplant, too. Early this past summer, I bought a small plant and potted it for the patio, watching it grow and balloon and bloom. Finally, after first fall frost, I cut it back and stored the planter in the toolshed, hoping to revitalize it next spring. Well, now, I shall have to bring that planter into the house and see what happens after careful nurturing, eh?

Diamond Frost is the greatest..even here in the heat of Texas it has been beautiful all summer. We did not have a freeze until Dec. 2 that killed mine. Wish I had known before then that it would be happy indoors..just never thought about moving it in. Now I know to save it for use at Christmas too, and then back outside in the spring. It is the hardiest plant that I have ever discovered for the heat and wind of Texas.

I have had DF for 2 years and it just doesn't quit. Pruned it back severely and gave cuttings to friends. They rooted them and are having great luck also. Its a great houseplant!!
