Construction Update
The window valences and sheers in the front parlor of the cottage are constructed from indoor/outdoor fabric.  They are durable and won’t fade in the sunlight shining through the windows.  The wall color is from Benjamin Moore called Nantucket Breeze.

Friends in the Gardening
Pumpkin grower Lisa Schaefer’s motto at her farm is “Everything is fresh from the land, not from a can.”  When children visit the pumpkin patch in fall they also get a lesson in agriculture and farming.  Lisa shows us pumpkin varieties that are good for decorating and cooking.
