In this episode of P. Allen Smith’s Garden Home we’ll look at the shape and form of garden spaces and how that same principle translates to plants.

Garden Home Inside and Out
Living space in the outdoor studio is extended outdoors with the addition of a pergola.  American Wisteria ‘Amethyst Falls’ (Wisteria frutescens) are planted on the corners to grow up into the arbor ceiling to create shade.  American Wisteria does not bloom as heavily as it does in Spring, but it will continue to produce flowers throughout the growing season.
