Pressed Leaf Art

This project for making a botanical “print” with pressed leaves is a stylish way to bring the garden indoors.  After collecting and pressing the leaves I took them to a professional framer, but you can do it at home, too.  Here's a look at the how the project came together.

I pressed flowers and framed and sealed them in glass. The only problem is they lose their color from any light. Is there a way to preserve their color?

This is something I am going to try to do. I have some beautiful fall leaves from North Wales, Pennsylvania in an album. I am going to take some out and try to frame them. I know how to frame things, so that part of the article will be easy for me to do. Thanks for the tip on pressing leafs for framing.
