Oh, yeah, wish I could rub shoulders at G2B, I'd promise to be quiet and just listen. What an exciting thought. Oh, well, think I'll read a blog. LIFE ON THE BALCONEY, here I come.

I am so thankful for all the garden/design blogs out in cyber world and wish I could be at G2B. In the 23 yrs. we have lived on our little patch of heaven, I have borrowed many of the ideas & growing tips to create this simple, everchanging woodland landscape that just takes my breath away. And I am so thankful for blogs like my recent favorite, LIFE ON THE BALCONEY. Though we have an acre and a quarter, I use these simple, unique and colorful ideas. I work 8hrs/5days/wk, therefore I need to keep it simple so I can actually complete a project. Can't wait to get my leaning wooden pallet garden going. I love the idea of using what others call junk such as a seatless patio chair and a rusted, legless wheelbarrel. I even have some cutup sections of our fiberglass church steeple that was hit by lightening years ago. LOTB makes my creative juices go wild. Unfortunately, a recent trip on a sweet gum ball has put all my dream projects on hold for a little while, fractured fibula. Happy Gardening, ya'll

It's hard to choose one blog, but Punk Rock and I have the same climae zone and she's not that far away. We seem to be at the same stages in our gardening. Her whimsical approach works great for me, also. I do mostly container gardening and don't have a very traditional approach.

Without a doubt, my very favorite blog is The Garden World Report. Shirley Bovshow offers the greatest informational garden videos. Plus, she is adorable; dimples, smile and all. I have been gardening for over half a century, but found there is always so much more to learn. Kudos for North Coast Gardening blogger and landscaper Gen Schmidt. Gen has a great blog too. Just wanted to let you know I'm envious of all of you amazing bloggers at the Second Annual Garden2Blog with Allen et al.

I should have mentioned that Gardener of Eden inspired me to create a blog so that I could become a part of the blog gardening community which I have found to be gracious and helpful.

What a challenge to name my favorite garden blog. There are so many who are deserving. However, The Gardener of Eden at http://cordarogarden.blogspot.com/ inspires. She is always there with friendly advice and is willing to share her trials and tribulations. She is what gardening is all about: creative, inspiring, and fun!
