		<description>I purchased Ikea slabs of butcher block in 2005. Cabinet shop cut 5&quot; backsplashes too, and the overall look is fabulous! Ikea&#039;s BB sealer is second to none, and has sealed the wood to perfection, with no other treatment necessary. 

 In the day of high end granite and marble, etc. butcher block wins my vote every time. Glad to know that lumber liquidators carries this too, yet Ikea is much more affordable, and NO I do not work for Ikea. It was well worth the two hour drive to shop at the nearest store.</description>
