Apple Dumplings

Ingredients
- 2 puff pastry sheets
- 4 tbsp. butter plus more for dotting the apples
- 3 large tart apples such as granny smith, peeled, cored and cut in half
- 1 1/2 tsp. cinnamon, divided
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 2 cups water
- 1 cup brown sugar, packed
Instructions
Sprinkle apple halves with 1/4 cup sugar and 1 teaspoon cinnamon and dot with butter. Wrap each apple half in puff pastry. Place in a lightly greased 8 x12-inch baking pan. Set aside.
Heat water to a boil. Add brown sugar, 4 tablespoons of butter and 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon, stir until butter is melted. Pour over prepared apples.
Bake in a preheated 425 degree F oven for 30 minutes.
Serve warm with ice cream

Time to prepare: 45 minutes.
Serves 6.

Hi, I just watched this recipe today on your show. It had a "stuffing" that is NOT included in this recipe? The show today was about "edible" flowers. I want to know the stuffing ingredients? Thank you & I enjoy your show--good job! Susan
