Maple Brown Sugar Cookies
This cookies are sweetened with brown sugar and maple syrup. They are soft and cake-like. I love them on a chilly autumn day with a hot cup of tea.
Ingredients
- 1/2 cup butter, unsalted, softened
- 1 cup dark brown sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1/2 cup maple syrup
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 2 1/2 cup flour
- 1 tsp. baking soda
- 1/2 tsp. salt
Instructions
Cream the sugar and softened butter with an electric hand mixer.
Add the eggs, vanilla, and maple syrup. Beat until well blended.
Sift the dry ingredients together in a separate bowl.
Gradually stir the dry ingredients into the brown sugar mix.
Cover the cookie dough with plastic and refrigerate for 30 minutes to an hour.
Using a tablespoon drop spoonfuls of dough onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
Bake in an oven preheated to 375°F for 8 to 10 minutes
