Parmesan Cheese Crisps
Mention the phrase "fast food" and most people think of a burger and fries. While a drive-thru may offer convenience, a better quick fix can be something that is prepared in your own kitchen. Your wallet and taste buds will thank you for it and you'll get home that much faster. These cheese crisps literally take about 10 minutes to make. Serve them with cherry tomatoes, olives and slices of salami and you have a nice "fast food" snack to tide you over until dinner.
Mix Parmesan with seasonings.
Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
Scoop one tablespoon measures of cheese on the parchment. Space the crisps about 2 inches apart; they'll spread as they cook.
Press the cheese to flatten a little.
Bake in a preheat 350°F oven for five to eight minutes. Keep an eye on them because they burn quickly.
Remove from the oven and allow to cool.
If Parmesan isn't your thing try making these with other hard cheeses such as cheddar or to mix up the flavor add dried herbs or spices.
Time to prepare: 15 minutes.
