Pink Lemonade Sippers
There's nothing quite like a cold drink on a warm afternoon. This recipe for lemonade is made extra refreshing with the addition of frozen raspberries and sparkling water.
- 1 1/2 cup raspberries
- 1 - 2 tsp. confectioners' sugar
- 6 cups sparkling water
- 6 cups club soda
- 1 cup powdered lemonade drink mix
- 1 small lemon, sliced
- sparkling sugar, pink
- ice cubes
Place 1/2 cup raspberries and the confectioner's sugar in the work bowl of a mini-food processor; process until completely pureed. Strain the puree through a fine mesh strainer and set aside until needed.
Pour the sparkling water into a large pitcher, add the lemonade mix and stir gently with a long handled spoon. Stir in the raspberry puree.
Moisten the rim of each glass with a lemon slice; dip the moistened rim into pink sparkling sugar.
Fill the glasses with ice, add sparkling pink lemonade, and garnish each with a lemon slice and a fresh raspberry. Serve immediately.
