Plant Details
Nasturtium Scarlet Gleam
Trapaeolum spp.

Description
Big red-orange flowers perch above the foliage of this easy-to-grow, bushy nasturtium. Enjoy the flowers in fresh cut bouquets or sprinkle a few on salads for a peppery treat. Blooms summer to frost.
Planting Tips
After all danger of frost, sow seeds in open ground well exposed. Cover with 1/2 inch soil, not too fertile. When plants are 2 inches tall, thin. Does not transplant well. Water sparingly. Excellent for hanging baskets. Ideal for borders. Unsurpassed as cut flowers. Use with Nasturtium, Moon Gleam for nice color contrast. Flowers and leaves are a tasty, peppery addition to salads and vegetables.
