Description
Annual. Silky, saucer-shaped, 3-inch blossoms of bright orange on slender, erect stems above feathery foliage. Drought resistant and sturdy. Adds a touch of color in dry areas.
Planting Tips
In early spring, sow in open ground well exposed. Cover with 1/4 inch soil. In mild climates, plant in fall or winter. When plants are 2 inches high, thin. Does not transplant easily. Excellent for xeriscaping (low water maintenance). For continuous bloom, cut off faded blooms. Ideal for sunny banks, terraces, rock gardens and containers.
