Petunia Supertunia® Bordeaux
Petunia hybrid

Description
The blooms of Supertunia® Bordeaux are a pale lavender-pink etched in dark plum with a dark plum throat. The plant has a cascading form with bright green stems and foliage.
Planting Tips
Plant Supertunias® in a spot where they will receive full sun. Consistent moisture is also key along with an application of a liquid fertilizer every 5 to 7 days. Petunias are heavy feeders, so this last point is important. In fact, if you are growing them in containers you'll want to feed them every time you water. This plant is self cleaning and heat tolerant. Other than regular watering and feeding, you won't need to do a thing to keep it healthy and beautiful.
Suggestions
I've been touting the virtues of Supertunia® Vista Bubblegum for several years. It's become my 'New Dawn' Rose of summer annuals – a plant that I think everyone should grow. Last summer, I discovered Supertunia® Bordeaux and am as smitten with it as I am Vista Bubblegum. Like Vista Bubblegum, Bordeaux blooms continuously from spring through the first autumn frost. The habits of Vista Bubblegum and Bordeaux are quite different. Vista Bubblegum has a mounding, spreading habit and Bordeaux is more trailing. Both are knock outs in containers, window boxes and hanging baskets.
