Flying Colors Container Garden
In spring the main attraction of this container is the brilliantly hued Flying Colors™ Coral Diascia. Diascia is a close relation of the snapdragon and the blooms are equally charming. It prefers cool temperatures and in my mid-south garden I grow it in spring and then plant it again in the fall along with pansies and violas. Northern gardeners can expect it to bloom through the summer up to the first hard freeze.
Also in the container is Sundaze® Flame Strawflower. Once the temperatures rise, the strawflower will take over for the Diascia, which will retreat until the heat breaks in fall.
