Eden of America

Despite being the smallest state in the union Rhode Island packs a big punch in architectural design, beautiful landscapes, with a rich horticultural history. While I was at the Newport Flower Show was I caught up with some of the Preservation Society of Newport County members who are keeping this “Eden of America” alive and well. Fresh Eggs Daily

We’re talking chickens today with one of my favorite poultry enthusiasts Lisa Steele who has a website called Fresh Eggs Daily. As a fifth generation chicken keeper she has a lot of helpful information about raising birds. I really appreciate her efforts to teach both newcomers and established flock owners how to use traditional, natural methods to care for their chickens.
