Today I’ll check in with North Little Rock Mayor Patrick Hays to talk about one of my favorite neighborhoods in central Arkansas – Argenta Arts District. We’ll discuss the past, present and future of the area and this year’s Tulip Festival that kicks off on March 7th.

Mayor Hays is a recognized leader in community economic development, neighborhood revitalization, community-oriented policing, historic preservation and recreation development.

Hi Allen,
Enjoy all your shows. I’m a master gardener in Virginia, and just heard a speaker yesterday talk about foraging food. It’s amazing how many weeds are eatable and full of vitamins. She talked about the dandelions, and said the roots are loaded with antioxidants. She chops them up and puts them in soups. She uses the flower heads in corn cakes, pancakes, etc..
