Spicy Garlic Basil Oil for Dipping

10 cloves garlic, peeled

1 cup soybean oil

1/2 cup balsamic vinegar

1/3 cup basil, chopped

1 teaspoon red chili pepper flakes


Heat 1 cup soybean oil, red chili pepper flakes and garlic cloves over low heat for 3 to 5 minutes.

Remove from heat and allow to cool completely, about an hour.

Transfer mixture to a food processor, add basil and blend until smooth.

Season with salt and serve at room temperature with baguette slices.

This will keep refrigerated for 1 week.

You used American Indian Prints in a small space; I would like to know the site where the prints were found. I think the prints was of a chief wearing red garments or red headdress.
